Required Condition to Get Aikyashree Scholarship

- To get this scholarship, a student should regularly attend the classes.
- They have an income certificate which will be required while applying for the form.
- Students should follow all rules & regulations made by school and as per this scheme. If they violate it, their scholarship will be suspended.

- To renew the application, students must have scored 50% in the previous year final examination.
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship
Under Aikyashree Scholarship Scheme, there is five kinds of scholarships given to the students and it have different eligibility criteria as well.
1. West Bengal Pre Matric Scholarship for SC/ST students- students should be a permanent resident of West Bengal and also belong to SC/ST category. The students of class 9th & 10th will be eligible under this scholarship. Their annual family should be 2 lakh or less. Under this scheme, students will get monthly financial help, the amount will be given from Rs. 150/- to Rs. 750/ and they will also get an ad hoc reward of 1000/- per year.
2. West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC- those students who belong to SC/ST or OBC category and they should be permanent residents of West Bengal. This scholarship is applicable for class 11th, 12th, graduation, post graduation. As per annual income, it should be 1 lakh or less for OBC, 2 lakh or less for SC and for ST, 2.5 lakh or less. Under this scheme, students will get financial assistance of Rs. 160 to Rs. 1200 per month.
3. Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal- To get this scholarship, students should score 60% in the qualifying examination, and Hindi as one of the subjects they have taken. They should be a permanent resident of West Bengal, and they belong to the non-Hindi speaking state. These students should have passed higher secondary or secondary or graduation or post graduation. Students will get Rs. 300 to Rs.1000 per month under this scheme.
4. Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship for Minorities, West Bengal- If a student is studying in standard 11th or 12th, they must have scored 75% in secondary examination. And if they are studying at undergraduate level, they should have scored 75% in class 12th. Candidate should be a permanent resident of West Bengal. And students of M.Phil, doctoral courses can also apply under this scholarship. Their annual family income should be 2.5 lakh or less. This scholarship will be given on the basis of merit list. This scholarship gives the highest financial support, Rs. 8000 per month.
5. Bigyani Kanya Medha Briti Scholarship, West Bengal- Such students who are pursuing engineering, medical or basic science will be eligible to get this scholarship and they should be female. The students should pass out class 12th from any board and must be a permanent resident of West Bengal. Students will get two kinds of financial support under this scheme, Rs. 3000 per month and yearly book grants Rs. 2000.
